We had a difficult problem at a fast food restaurant/gas service station.
Sewer gas odor's in the station/restaurant became unbearable at times.
We determined, due to the facilities location in a depression (valley),
air currents allowed sewer gas to be drawn into the HVAC fresh air intakes.
First we extended the sanitary roof vents five feet higher. Some improvement,
but not always. We installed the charcoal filters three weeks ago and
the problem has gone away.

We recently purchased the perfect house in the perfect location. During the home inspection we where informed that a new septic system would be necessary, this would be our first septic system house, we where happy to know we would have a new system. After approximately 6-9 months I started to smell a horrible odor in the front and rear yard. I ignored the smell, hoping that it was a neighbor. After another 3 months I built a huge deck off the rear of the home and again we where always disappointed to smell that horrible septic odor. I even notified the company that installed the septic system several time explaining that there was a problem only to be informed that the smell was comming from the roof vents and there was nothing that could be done. Anger and frustration began to set in, why don't we smell this at the neighbor's homes, how come we never heard of this problem, why us ?? I then turned to the internet searching for a solution. After about a month of passing over the Wolverine site I really read into how the product worked, I was a doubter. I had my wife take a look at the information and she said,"Let's go for it, we can't live like this." I purchased 2 vent pipe filters, upon delivery I still had my doubts. I could not have been more wrong about this wonderful product. I still can't believe how well they work. It's truly amazing, it's a wonder product. We have had the filter's on for several weeks and we can't detect any septic smell, we have our yard back.
